A Women Supporting Women Organization
Since starting in 2018, Truly Me, LLC has been proud to serve the North Carolina community.
This organization is for women that feels as though they are overwhelmed, overlooked, have too much on their plates, or just need to vent because no one else will listen.
We organize many community events. Members go to different boys and girls clubs, to help with kids, that parents just can’t afford everything they feel their child needs. We go to local schools sport games, for parents that couldn’t make it, because they had to work or have health conditions that won’t let them out the house.
We take time out for ourselves to meet twice a month, in different cities, and do various of activities. We take trips twice a year. One with the kids for women with kids, and one with just us women. We are a 21+, no judgment, carefree organization. No subject is off subject with us.
There are many wonderful, strong, hard working, ball busting, grind harder women in this organization.

About Us
We, as women, don’t get the recognition we deserve. When men have their children, it’s cute and they get praised. What about women? Women are expected to have their kids, no praise there. Women are suppose to work and come home to care for anyone that resides in that home. We’re natural nurturer, so we do what we have been raised to do. Be strong enough to take care of business, but soft enough for your partner to feel like the head of the home. We aren’t allowed to get tired. We aren’t allowed to complain. We aren’t allowed to take a day to ourselves. Who’s going to take care of home? Who’s going to prepare everyone for the next morning? Who’s going to wipe the babies tears? Who’s going to care for our partners when they’re sick, even though we have the flu???? Exactly...no one but US!
It’s what we were raised to do. But what about us? When do we get a break? When do we get a day without worrying about how bills will get paid? When do we get our tears wiped? When do we get our peace of mind, knowing that everything has been taken care of?
Being a women is a full time job. There is no paid time off. No sick days. No personal days to yourself. We get tired. We get frustrated. We cry in the shower, then get our like everything is alright.
It’s time out for that. Why can’t there be a place where we can just breathe? A place where we can complain. Network. Socialize. Laugh. Cry. Drink. Sing. Curse. And drink so more lol. we need a break. We need someone to talk to. We need help. We need that last drink. We need that quiet place. We need to sit with others and understand, we are not alone. WE NEED THAT RECOGNITION!! We’ve earned it.
Nothing wrong with sitting around twice a month. Nothing wrong with wanting to be heard. that’s what this group is all about.
Who knows, this group might be a woman’s only escape. Let me watch your babies for a couple hours. Go to the spa with her. Shoot let me go to her house, just to nap on her couch, for a few hours. Let her tell you how proud she is of your hard work. Let someone take some stress off your shoulders.
Everyone else gets to breathe, why can’t we?????
